Apco Oil and Gas International Inc. (APAGF: NASDAQ®) is an international oil and gas exploration and production company with interests in seven oil and gas producing concessions and one exploration permit in Argentina. We are active in four of the five principal producing basins in the country. Our core asset is a 52.79 percent interest in the exploration, production and development of oil and gas in the Entre Lomas concession located in the provinces of Rio Negro and Neuquen in southwest Argentina.
Our strategy is to develop and grow our assets in Argentina, and conduct business development efforts with a goal of expanding the company into other South American countries.
Apco began exploration and production activities in Argentina in the late 1960s and became a public company in 1978. Apco is a Cayman Islands company with headquarters located in Tulsa, Oklahoma and a branch office in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Apco is 69 percent owned by The Williams Companies, Inc. (WMB: NYSE).
